Work the glass, not the cake

Introduce diluent slowly against the vial wall, never directly onto the lyophilised cake, and swirl gently — peptide tertiary structure does not survive shaking.

Bacteriostatic vs sterile water

Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) is the standard multi-draw diluent in laboratory practice. We stock 10 mL vials in the Firn shelf.

Cold and dark

Reconstituted solutions are stored sealed at 2–8 °C away from light. Per-compound stability notes ship with the product documentation.
